Local Authorities opt into Agripa’s FREE warranty scheme

05/10/2012

Agripa believes that delivering an exceptional, customer-focused service requires establishing trusting relationships with its clients, listening carefully to what they say and adapting the business model to meet their needs.  Throughout the summer months Agripa visited a cross section of 40 local authority clients, where the Installation and Sales divisions carried out fleet audits and conducted surveys to identify how its customers’ key preferences and requirements have changed over the 7 years since commencing work within the public sector.

Customer feedback was significantly weighted towards a need for assurance that the pristine appearance and integrity of the advertising systems are safeguarded and monitored for the duration of a vehicle’s life – value for money and quality of design and workmanship were of fundamental importance. Agripa has responded by launching phase one of its initiative to address these areas and is delighted to announce it will now provide a FREE 3 YEAR WARRANTY on every advertising system fitted to UK local authority vehicles.

How does it work?  Vehicles which do not currently have an Agripa advertising system will automatically have the system warranted for a 3 year period from the date of installation. The company was adamant that existing customers should not to be excluded from the offer, and Agripa has extended the free warranty provision to cover existing system installations. In order to administer this, the Service Delivery team is currently contacting all local authority clients to schedule fleet audits and any essential repairs, at the conclusion of which the client can elect to sign up for its free warranty.

If you represent a local authority client and have not yet been contacted about your free warranty, please call Agripa now on 0141 810 8780 or 8781.

Thank You To Our Loyal Customers!

Agripa is pleased to announce the expansion of its print and finishing capacity with the installation of a second, large format, digital printer.

A capital investment of £350,000 allows Agripa to reduce its turnaround times as well as engage in further product development, helping to increase service levels and assuring delivery of a consistently quality product.

The company’s growth strategy included purchasing a new HP Scitex printer, a move singled out by Managing Director, John Pitt, as evidence of Agripa’s continued commitment to improve customer service, “We have spent the last year listening carefully to our customers and have made substantial investments across the company. The advancement of the business is due, in no small part, to our loyal customers who have helped us grow over the last decade. Naturally this investment will hugely benefit those same customers and vastly improve the service we can provide to them and our new clients both here in the UK and abroad.”

Production Manager, Stephen O'Neill, considers this venture crucial for the future success of Agripa, "The outlay was absolutely necessary for us as we are now working 24 hours, 7 days a week. Before the end of the year we will take delivery of bespoke welding machines which are currently being manufactured in the USA. This will further guarantee our ability to maximise output but still maintain a high level of efficiency and quality.”

Hand in hand with this capital investment, Agripa has also appointed 4 new members of staff and is delighted to welcome its 50th employee to the business.

Robert Clark recently joined the ranks within Agripa’s Installation division. He becomes the latest addition to a team of 12 installation engineers who travel the length and breadth of the UK every day. Robert, who has just completed his theoretical instruction and begins his practical training next week, stated, "In the short time since I came to Agripa, it has been obvious the managers and other engineers all work really hard at delivering the best service possible to our customers.  Being the newest member of staff, I was quite nervous about how I would fit into the company, but from the very start I have only experienced genuine dedication and encouragement from across the whole business. Every single person from the directors to the warehouse staff has been enthusiastic about sharing their knowledge and helping me through my induction.  Part of my training so far has been on the company’s corporate responsibility policies and it is clear, even to a newcomer like me, that the business takes really seriously its duty of care, not just to employees and customers but the society and environment as well."

Whilst reaching the 50 employees milestone, Robert joining the company is representative of Agripa’s growth strategy coming into its own as the business continues to buck the trend in times of austerity by increasing employment opportunities across the UK. Other recent appointments include Adam Shield, Ross McFarlane and Michael Robertson, adding vital experience and creativity to Studio, Sales and IT respectively. Further to additions within the Glasgow office, Agripa has established a Belfast-based installation team which services the whole of Ireland and has proven so successful that the company is shortly to introduce its second regional team of engineers into the Midlands early in 2013.

Communicating with your residents frequently can be both challenging and costly. That is why Agripa has devoted years to developing the most affordable and effective advertising systems in the UK market.

As budgets get ever tighter, councils are making better use of their own resources. Hundreds of Local Authorities in the United Kingdom already use their Recycling & Waste Collection Vehicles to promote waste awareness & recycling campaigns, amongst many others.

However, thanks to our new Agripa Bus product, Marketing & Communications departments can now use their community buses as a mobile media format. With these mobile billboards, local authorities can now promote a full variety of community messages including fostering, safety, election & leisure based campaigns on buses which travel throughout the communities they operate within.

Community Bus

Agripa's bus system is unique; offering you a large display format which looks solid externally but is transparent from the inside and does not hinder the view of passengers. Working in conjunction with the Agripa Frame, our patented mesh panels can be easily removed and replaced, allowing you to keep your messages fresh & impactful for a fraction of the cost of traditional bus advertising.
